Mercedes Ponton W180 W1286-cylinder models, coupe and convertible (1954-1959).
These cars represented the pinnacle of luxury offered by Mercedes. Almost all interior surfaces of the coupe and convertible were covered in wood or leather, and matching leather luggage was also available.
The cars in the series SE were equipped with the new Bosch mechanical injection.
