Twin to the famous 507 convertible, the 503 coupe, based on the architecture and mechanics of the BMW 502, never reached the stars as expected.

Although its modern, lightweight alloy eight-cylinder engine promised decent acceleration and top speed, its exorbitant price sealed its fate. 413 copies found buyers in 4 years.
