Description
Volvo PV 544, US export version (1958–1965).
The PV 544 replaced the PV 444 in 1958. It adopted a one-piece curved windscreen in place of the two flat panes, and a four-speed manual gearbox. In 1962, it received the 1.8-litre B18 engine, originally developed for the P1800. The PV 544 was renowned for its toughness: a second-hand example won the Safari Rally in 1965.
New stainless steel bumpers for the Volvo PV 544, US export version, from 1958 to 1965. The set comprises 1 front bumper in 3 parts, 1 rear bumper in 3 parts, 4 overriders, 1 ‘towel rail’ for the front bumper and 1 ‘towel rail’ for the rear bumper.
All our bumpers are inspected, then hand-finished in our workshop in Beaumontois en Périgord, in the Dordogne.

The result is unrivalled quality. Before dispatch, each one is dressed with a file so that no cutting marks or sharp edges remain, then smoothed with fine sandpaper.
