Description

Hillman Imp (1963–1976).

A small economy car designed by Michael Parkes and Tim Fry for the Rootes Group, the Imp was built at Linwood, in Scotland, from 1963 to 1976, with 440,032 produced. It stood out for its rear-mounted overhead-camshaft engine with an aluminium block, inspired by the Coventry Climax FWMA, and for its opening rear window. In competition, Rosemary Smith won the Tulip Rally in 1965, and Bill McGovern the British Saloon Car Championship in 1970, 1971 and 1972.

New stainless steel bumpers for the Hillman Imp. The set comprises 1 front bumper, 1 rear bumper and 4 overriders with rubber pads.

All our bumpers are inspected, then hand-finished in our workshop in Beaumontois en Périgord, in the Dordogne.

FINISHES

All our bumpers are trial-fitted, then given an exclusive hand finish in our Dordogne workshop.

The result is unrivalled quality. Before dispatch, each one is dressed with a file so that no cutting marks or sharp edges remain, then smoothed with fine sandpaper.

This finish is unique to our products: it is our signature and our commitment to quality.
