Matra 530 LX (1970–1973) Stainless Steel Rear Boot Trim

New rear boot trim in mirror-polished 304 stainless steel for the Matra 530 LX: the finishing touch, essential if you are buying the bumpers.

The 530 owes its name to the R.530 air-to-air missile, the flagship of Matra's aerospace division, and its styling to Philippe Guédon. Its layout was unique in its day: a mid-engined 2+2 coupé, with a Ford Taunus V4 mounted behind the passengers, under a polyester body with pop-up headlamps and a two-panel removable roof. The LX version, revised by Giovanni Michelotti, notably updated the tail and benefited from the Chrysler-Simca dealer network, which finally gave it real distribution.
