Description
Volkswagen Type 2 Split Screen (1950–1967).
Born of an idea by Volkswagen's Dutch importer Ben Pon, the T1 went into production in March 1950, at Wolfsburg and then, from 1956, at Hanover. Its two-piece windscreen earned it the nicknames ‘Splitscreen’ and ‘Splittie’. Built as the 23-window Samba minibus, as a pick-up and as a panel van, it was powered by a rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-four.
New stainless steel front badge for all Volkswagen Type 2 Split Screens (1950-1967). The set comprises 1 front badge, with nuts and bolts.
All our parts are inspected, then hand-finished in our workshop in Beaumontois en Périgord, in the Dordogne.

All our bumpers are trial-fitted, then given an exclusive hand finish in our Dordogne workshop.
The result is unrivalled quality. Before dispatch, each one is dressed with a file so that no cutting marks or sharp edges remain, then smoothed with fine sandpaper.
